Product Description
1. Scope
This document establishes the technical requirements, optical performance, mechanical characteristics, environmental specifications, and compliance standards for 24-Fiber (24F) MTP Loopback Modules. These modules are designed for optical system testing, port validation, continuity checks, insertion loss (IL), and optical return loss (ORL) verification in high-density data center and telecommunication networks.
2. General Description
The 24F MTP Loopback Module is a precision optical testing component that creates a closed optical circuit by internally routing the transmit (TX) channels to corresponding receive (RX) channels of a 24-fiber MTP interface. It enables self-loop testing of transceivers, network equipment, and cabling infrastructure, supporting high-speed applications including 100G, 200G, and 400G parallel optics. The module features a compact, rugged housing with a push-pull connector for easy insertion and extraction.
