5. Compliance Standards

• IEC Standards: Complies with the relevant international standards established by the International Electrotechnical Commission for fiber optic components and communication equipment, ensuring interoperability and performance consistency.

• Telecorida Standards: Meets the specific technical requirements and quality criteria set by Telecorida for fiber optic termination and distribution equipment, adhering to industry-specific performance and reliability benchmarks.

6. Material Requirements

• The box body is manufactured using high-quality ABS+PC composite material, which possesses excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and weatherability to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

• All materials used in the box are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and meet the relevant environmental protection standards specified by IEC and Telecorida.

7. Performance Requirements

7.1 Mechanical Performance

• The box shall have sufficient mechanical strength to resist external impacts, vibrations, and mechanical stress during transportation, installation, and operation, without deformation or damage.

• The mounting structure shall be sturdy and reliable, ensuring that the box remains securely fixed during use, even under adverse environmental conditions.

• The door/lid of the box shall have a tight and secure closure mechanism, providing effective protection against dust, water, and other external contaminants.

7.2 Environmental Performance

• Temperature Resistance: The box shall operate normally within the specified temperature range of -40℃ ~ +80℃, without any degradation in performance or structural integrity.

• Humidity Resistance: It shall withstand relative humidity levels of 5% ~ 95% (non-condensing) without causing corrosion, short circuits, or other performance issues.

• Protection Against External Factors: The box shall effectively protect the internal fiber optic components and cables from dust, insects, rain, snow, UV radiation, and other environmental hazards, in accordance with the protection level requirements of IEC and Telecorida standards.

7.3 Optical Performance

• The box shall not introduce any additional optical loss beyond the limits specified by IEC and Telecorida standards when fibers are properly installed and connected.

• The fiber routing and management design within the box shall minimize fiber bending and stress, ensuring that the optical performance of the fibers is not compromised.

8. Test Methods

8.1 Mechanical Performance Test

• Impact Test: Conduct impact tests in accordance with IEC and Telecorida standard test methods. The box shall not show any cracks, deformation, or functional failures after being subjected to the specified impact energy.

• Mounting Strength Test: Verify the mounting strength by applying the specified load to the mounted box. The mounting structure shall not loosen, deform, or fail, and the box shall remain in a stable position.

• Closure Tightness Test: Inspect the closure tightness of the door/lid by simulating dust and water exposure tests. No dust or water shall penetrate into the box interior.

8.2 Environmental Performance Test

• Temperature Cycle Test: Expose the box to cyclic temperature variations within the operating temperature range (-40℃ ~ +80℃) as per the standard test procedure. After the test, the box shall function normally, and there shall be no structural damage or performance degradation.

• Humidity Test: Place the box in a test chamber with a relative humidity of 95% (non-condensing) at the specified temperature for the required duration. After the test, the internal components shall not show signs of corrosion, and the box shall meet the specified performance requirements.

• Environmental Protection Test: Perform tests to evaluate the box's resistance to dust, insects, UV radiation, and other environmental factors in accordance with IEC and Telecorida standards. The box shall demonstrate effective protection against these factors.

8.3 Optical Performance Test

• Optical Loss Measurement: Measure the optical loss of the fiber connections within the box using standard optical test equipment. The measured loss shall not exceed the maximum allowable value specified by IEC and Telecorida standards.

• Fiber Bending Test: Conduct fiber bending tests to ensure that the fiber routing within the box does not cause excessive bending loss. The test shall be performed in accordance with the relevant standards, and the optical performance shall remain within the acceptable range.

9. Marking and Packaging

9.1 Marking

• Each fiber optic termination box shall be marked with the following information in a clear and durable manner:

○ Product name: Fiber Optic Termination Box

○ Key technical parameters (dimensions, operating temperature range, etc.)

○ Manufacturer's name or logo (if applicable, without exposing specific customer-related information)

○ Production date or batch number

9.2 Packaging

• The box shall be packaged in a suitable protective container to prevent damage during transportation and storage.

• The packaging shall include necessary accessories (mounting hardware, etc.) and a user manual containing installation, operation, and maintenance instructions.

• The packaging shall be labeled with product information, handling precautions, and storage conditions.
