Product Description
This document specifies the technical requirements, performance parameters, mechanical characteristics, environmental specifications, and application scenarios of the 8-Fiber (8F) MTP Loopback Modular. The product is designed for testing and verifying optical transceivers, network ports, and cabling systems in high-density data center and telecommunication environments. All specifications apply to standard commercial-grade modules without proprietary branding, part numbers, or manufacturer identifiers.
2. Product Description
The 8F MTP Loopback Modular is a compact optical testing component that routes transmit (TX) optical signals back to corresponding receive (RX) channels within a single MTP connector interface. It enables self-testing of 40G/100G QSFP+ transceivers, port validation, insertion loss (IL) measurement, and link troubleshooting for parallel optics networks. The module integrates internal fiber routing and a protective housing for stable, repeatable testing.
