Product Description

1. Product Overview

This field installable fast connector is specially designed for FTTH and various fiber optic cabling scenarios. Adopting the V-groove mechanical splicing principle, it requires no epoxy glue and on-site end face polishing. Equipped with factory pre-polished structure, the connector enables rapid on-site fiber termination within 2 minutes without fiber fusion splicing.

Only basic fiber processing tools are required for assembly, and no power supply is needed. It features simple operation, strong environmental adaptability and stable optical performance, effectively reducing on-site installation errors and connection failure rate. The product is applicable to complex working environments such as utility poles and manholes. It is widely used for indoor wiring, LAN, CCTV, FTTX network construction, fiber line maintenance and emergency restoration.

This series of field assembly connectors covers multiple types including SC, LC and FC, compatible with single-mode and multi-mode fibers with diameters ranging from 250μm to 900μm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm. Multi-mode options include 62.5/125μm and 50/125μm specifications, while single-mode versions are available with UPC and APC ferrules.

5. Installation Procedures

1. Strip the outer buffer layer of the optical fiber with a stripping tool.

2. Cleave the processed fiber with a fiber cleaver to obtain a qualified fiber end face.

3. Clean the fiber surface and end face thoroughly with wipes.

4. Insert the processed optical fiber into the fast connector and complete assembly.
