1 Scope

This specification defines the structure, optical performance, mechanical performance, environmental performance, fiber parameters, connector requirements, and application scope of 2‑fiber butterfly flat indoor FTTH drop cable assemblies. It applies to indoor cabling, end‑user direct connection, and premises distribution systems in FTTH and access networks.

2 General Description

The product is a pre‑terminated butterfly flat indoor drop cable assembly, designed as the final access link in FTTH deployment. It features a central optical fiber unit, two parallel strength members, and an LSZH flame‑retardant sheath. It offers easy stripping, splicing, and installation, with excellent bend insensitivity, anti‑electromagnetic interference, and lightning protection (non‑metallic strength member).
