1 Scope
This specification defines the structure, optical performance, mechanical performance, environmental performance, requirements, and test methods of 1-core self-supporting aerial FTTH drop cable patch cords for use in FTTH access networks, indoor wiring, terminal connections, and optical communication equipment interconnections.

The patch cord is assembled with self-supporting aerial FTTH drop cable, featuring a figure‑8 flat structure with central optical fiber, parallel strength members, and LSZH flame‑retardant jacket. It supports easy stripping, splicing, and installation for terminal boxes, faceplates, ONU, and customer premises equipment.
