Product Description
1. Product Overview
Field assembly fast connector is a field-terminable fiber connector widely applied in FTTX scenarios. It adopts factory pre-polished ferrule structure, requiring no epoxy glue or on-site end-face polishing, and eliminates fiber fusion splicing. With only basic fiber hand tools, fiber termination can be completed within 2 minutes, greatly reducing on-site construction time and labor costs.
The connector applies molded plastic V-groove mechanical alignment principle to realize stable fiber core docking without extra adhesive or complex auxiliary processes. It supports construction in narrow and harsh environments such as utility poles and manholes, effectively lowering on-site connection failure rate caused by human operation errors.
This series covers SC, LC, FC connector forms, compatible with 250μm–900μm coated fiber, 2.0mm / 3.0mm simplex cable, single-mode and multimode fiber (62.5/125μm, 50/125μm multimode). Single-mode versions are equipped with UPC or APC ceramic ferrules. This specification specifies the 51mm screw-sealed SC type fast connector.

5. On-site Assembly Requirements
5.1 Required Tools
Only standard fiber processing hand tools are needed, no power supply:
• Fiber stripping tool
• Alcohol cleaning wipes
• Precision fiber cleaver
5.2 Assembly Steps
1. Strip cable outer jacket and fiber buffer coating;
2. Clean bare fiber surface with alcohol wipes;
3. Cleave fiber end face with cleaver to obtain flat section;
4. Insert cleaved fiber into the fast connector V-groove;
5. Lock screw seal tail to fix cable;
6. Complete termination within 2 minutes.
