Product Description

1. Product Overview

This field installation connector, also named fast install connector, is specially designed for FTTH deployment scenarios. It adopts factory pre-polished structure and V-groove mechanical splicing principle, requiring no on-site polishing, epoxy glue application or fiber fusion splicing. The whole fiber termination process can be completed within 2 minutes with simple hand tools, which effectively saves construction time and reduces overall deployment costs.

Featuring simple assembly and excellent structural stability, the connector enables direct optical core connection without extra professional processing or adhesives. It adapts well to narrow and harsh working environments such as utility poles and manholes, and efficiently lowers connection failure rates caused by on-site operational errors. No power supply is required during installation, and the operation process is straightforward and reliable.

This series of field assembly connectors is widely applied to indoor optical wiring for buildings and floors, LAN and CCTV systems. It is compatible with multiple fiber specifications, covering single-mode and multi-mode fibers with cladding diameters from 250μm to 900μm, as well as 2.0mm and 3.0mm diameter cables. Multi-mode types include 62.5/125μm and 50/125μm specifications, while single-mode versions are equipped with SPC or APC ferrules for selection.

2. Working Principle

The optical fiber is inserted into the V-groove of the ferrule for precise positioning and fixation. Matching fluid is applied inside the structure to optimize optical coupling performance, realizing stable and low-loss optical signal transmission. It is applicable to 2.0*3.1mm drop cables and common simplex optical cables.

1. Strip the buffer layer of the optical fiber;

2. Cleave the fiber with a fiber cleaver to obtain qualified fiber end face;

3. Clean the fiber surface thoroughly with wipes;

4. Insert the processed fiber into the connector to complete termination.
