Product Description

1. Product Overview

This fiber access terminal closure serves as a fiber termination unit in FTTx optical communication networks, connecting feeder cables and subscriber drop cables. It integrates fiber splicing, optical splitting and cable distribution functions, providing comprehensive mechanical protection and standardized fiber management for outdoor & indoor ODN network deployment. The unit supports up to 32 independent subscriber access ports.

8. Cable & Splitter Deployment Rules

1. All incoming feeder cables shall be secured by cable glands or mid-span ports with reliable strain relief

2. Excess fiber, pigtails and patch cords shall be neatly stored in dedicated fiber storage trays to maintain minimum fiber bending radius

3. Blockless PLC splitters shall be fixed on the flip-up distribution panel for easy replacement and maintenance

4. Independent cable routing partitions prevent crossing and extrusion of different fiber types

9. General Quality Requirements

1. Cabinet shell shall be free of cracks, deformation, burrs and surface discoloration; tight sealing to meet IP65/IP66 waterproof standard

2. All metal hardware shall be anti-corrosion treated (galvanized or stainless steel)

3. Internal plastic components shall have anti-aging performance to withstand long-term outdoor ultraviolet exposure

4. All fiber fixing and splicing components shall not cause mechanical damage to fiber cores
